Tree Series - Study 9
Living in North Devon within a beautiful wooded valley gave me an opportunity to study trees and experiment with different styles using a variety of mediums. A series of paintings emerged where I explored the negative areas between the branches and fill the void with an array of subtle colours which change with each segment. The effect would be rather like an old stained glass window, not any piece of glass is the same.
